All tour guides will tell you to go visit the Born, the trendy and trend of Barcelona, the small village in the city. On my side, I now advise you to linger towards Sant Pere if you wish to find the authenticity of the Born of the past.
The neighbourhood Sant Pere can be defined as the part "family friendly" the born.
On the menu of this walk of about 2 hours: fountains and lovely squares shaded, a play area for children, the traditional market to the roof colored Santa Caterina, stores of furniture design to Scandinavian sauce, a multitude of small galleries of modern art, a bar to tapas in a former convent, the craft market with its stalls jewelry fantasies or original bag (craft of Barcelona according to me the best market).
And I can not resist to share my two favorites: the store for lovers of the polaroids and the best dim sum in Catalonia restaurant (with the option to take to go so the wait time for a table is impressive!).
